Property & Casualty
The Property & Casualty program is the "bread and butter" of most insurance agencies. Students getting these two licenses will be able to sell home and auto insurances. The Property license primarily focuses on the homeowner policies and the Casualty license focuses primarily on the automobile policies. Also, the Casualty license has a strong focus on liability policies.
Personal Lines is a different license and students cannot have Property & Casualty licenses and a Personal Lines license. They are basically the same license except Personal Lines does not include the Commercial section.
Similarly, students cannot hold a Property & Casualty agent's license and the Adjuster's license. Although students seeking the Adjuster's license take the prelicense class, there is not a statutory mandate.
