Q1: How much does the state exam cost?

Effective July 1st, 2008 the state exam costs $106.50 for the first attempt and $56.50 each subsequent attempt.

Q2: Where/when/how do you take the state exam?

Q3: What happens if I fail the state exam?

You may take it up to five times within a time frame of 90 days. If you fail five times or have gone more than 90 days from the date of your certifcate, you must attend another prelicensing course. Insurance Educational Systems will offer a 50% discount for students requiring recertification if that student had previously attended with Insurance Educational Systems.
